Knowing what you now know about the value of incoming links, how would you like to have your links promoted by hundreds and Thousands of internet marketers, some even emailing your articles to their lists of subscribers? These would all be one-way INCOMING links to your site, and it can be totally free, but for a small amount you can send them to thousands and go completely viral overnight!

That's what we can do with articles!
An article is just a story about something you know about or are interested in. It can be as short as 300 words or as long as say 1,500 generally.

The best way I've found to write an article is to decide what I'm going to write about, and then think about how I would explain this story to a friend over the phone or in an email. I go over the conversation in my head then start writing without stopping to fix typos, spelling, grammar or even worrying about it making sense. If I head down a different path, and get off track, I keep going along with it and keep writing until I come back to the storyline.

After a few paragraphs I find I have trouble writing as quickly as my thoughts emerge, so I never have a problem with finding enough content to put in the article using this technique. I understand there are many other ways to write articles and loads of tips and tricks but just remember "the ONE thing" above "We must be able to start anything!"

After we have produced an Article we then need to get it published on the web with our signature containing a link back to our website!

The simple answer is because you can make money from it!

Wouldn't it be good to spend maybe a few days setting up enough pages to run enough adsense ads to be able to then sit back and do nothing while our adsense campaign is out there working for us 24/7, in all counties and earning enough from that, to not have to work anymore?
Or, if it were to take you a few weeks or even months to do this, wouldn't it still be worthwhile?
Ok, so how do we do this? First we need to consider how we can make web pages.
We can make each one manually and or use some kind of webpage building software.

If we choose to manually construct our web pages we also need to include enough content to make people want to go there in the first place so they can click on the adsense ad. But if the content is good enough to attract them in the first place then maybe they won't want to go somewhere else anyway, so that really defeats the purpose.

So this brings us to another point of consideration. For our adsense ads to work best we need to have people landing on them who are looking for information about a specific subject. So our adsense page has to have lots of information about one specific subject, but not so much that they stay there.

To do this we can consider using software to make a directory of information pages, on these pages we have links to other sites that are providing the detailed information that our visitors are looking for. On our directory page we have a description of the sites that are listed there. And many of these sites have provided a "Reciprocal link" to our sites, home page! (This will be covered below) so we will now have a page with lots of great content (all the site descriptions) and this is where people come looking for specific information, so we place our adsense ads here!
They are targeted pages, and visitors arrive looking for something to click on! So it makes adsense to do this.

Setting up an adsense account:

This can be a little bewildering due to the fact that you need to create your first ad as part of the signup process.  https://www.google.com/adsense

If you go here you'll find that Google has taken care of everything by providing a step by step guide that tells you everything you need know.

Designing your adsense display:

Once you have your adsense account set up you'll be able to choose the type of add you want and Taylor it to suit your site. Some things to consider when doing this are, do you want it to appear as a part of the page? Or do you want it to jump out as something different? It's difficult to say which is best, because that depends on a range of variables, such as your target market, your overall objectives and promotional plan.
To track your adsense ads performance you can use the "channels" option while creating your ad boxes, this will help you to determine which ads in which pages are doing the best and that, in turn, will enable you to decide on the best possible style and position for displaying your ads.

Placing an Ad display on your page:

First, this all depends on your skill and knowledge of html, if you're new to web page building and html, you may find this a challenging task.
If you are experienced you can skip to the notes in this section, these notes may save you a lot of time and worry
Many html composers will allow us to edit the page in the "view" that we would see in if it was a live page. So all we have to do is place XXX in the page were we want the ad to appear, and then switch to "html view" (or whatever your composer calls the page that you edit html code on). In the html view we find the XXX, then simply delete the XXX and paste the adsense ad code in its place. EASY!

NOTES:
Some composers won't run the script in any view after you paste it, ARGH! This may make you think it didn't work. In addition when you load it to your server and run it live, you may still not see your ad display! It sometimes takes a little while for everything to propagate on the page. So, as long as the code is there in html view, don't waste your time trying to figure out why it isn't showing, just come back every hour or so to check it.
Also you will notice at first, the ads may not be targeted or may only display partially, just be patient, I have had to wait up to 3 days for some of my ad displays to appear!

The webmaster's nightmare. "Oh my god, my listing is gone from google!!!" or yahoo, or msn or any of the big search engines.

We all know that traffic is the life blood of any online endeavor. Without traffic you can't make sales. Search engine traffic is the most reliable source of high quality traffic. High quality being visitors who are looking specifically for the products or services you sell.

FFAs or Free For All  links pages are considered low quality traffic sources. IE people randomly surfing, clicking on whatever looks interesting. Not really searching for anything and very unlikely to buy anything.

There is however another role that FFAs play. Bulk submition to FFAs or blasting FFAs creates hundreds of links to your web site. The number of links to your site is part of how google and other search engines rank your site. The more links the higher your ranking.

Now here is the problem. Traditional wisdom among webmasters, internet marketers and internet gurus is that too many FFA links. Considered low quality links, will get you banned from search engines.

In other words, the belief is that if google thinks you are trying to boost your rankings by adding a lot of low quality links they will ban you.

So will they? My only answer has to be, "not in my experience."

Here is a little history of my internet marketing journy. For the longest time I was wasting money on this traffic generating ebook and that traffic generating system. I was getting a pitance of search engine traffic and no google traffic. So I decided "So what if I get banned.". I wasn't getting google traffic anyway, how would being banned hurt me?

I started FFA blasting 3 or more times a week and guess what. Google traffic. Not huge amounts by any means, but google traffic none the less. Not only google iether. Ask.com, yahoo and many others. Even a fair amount of FFA page traffic.

So what am I saying here? It's simple. No one knows how google or yahoo or ask.com ranks web site except google, yahoo or ask.com. The search engines, like any good business, are constantly tweaking and changing their ranking rules. These rules are secret. Any internet marketing guru who claims to have "broken the google code" is either lieing out right or working off old information. Don't believe them.

In my experience making your internet foot print as large as possible is the best traffic generating strategy. Submitting to FFAs is the quickest easiest way to do this.

If you are already making a good living with free google traffic, great don't change a thing. In fact write an article so I can learn your secrets. If you are yet to get your first google hit, start submitting to FFAs. In my experience only good things will come of it.

Almost 85% of all knowledge obtained online starts with somebody doing research on one or more search engines. Weather it be a product or a service, search engines are the most likely tool people are using to find what they want. You would benefit greatly to gain an understanding of how search engines can help grow your business.

Search engines have two basic styles - portal and search box focused. In either search style, results depend on inclusion within the engine's extensive database, some using human editing and others fully automated, some requiring paid inclusion and others free. Search results listings are called SERP's or search engine result pages.

Studies have shown that search engines and links are the most effective way to reach web users. While other successful internet marketing tactics include word of mouth and traditional direct mail advertising.

Search engine marketing is tiered, meaning one may promote a website on the search engines at various levels of visibility. Each level offers a distinctly different service than the next. At the most basic level of marketing is search engine listing which is simply registration in any given search database. This doesn't guarantee or solidify ranking in the top results, but does obtain consideration. The next level is called search engine optimization, or improving a website's ability to gain top rankings in SERP's.

To rank relevantly within search engine results, websites must be considered relevant for a particular search algorithm for that particular keyword or phrase. This is a dynamic and growing strategy based on various tactics aimed to use search algorithms to the marketer's best advantage. Currently, websites rank highest when each page is optimized separately. Metatags are thus developed with appropriate content.

There are countless search engines driving traffic to websites. Most of these are small, targeted and growing, while others have large, broad and loyal audiences. Just a few search engines control the majority of queries on the Internet. These leaders include: Yahoo, Google, Ask Jeeves, and AllTheWeb.

Other search sites compile results from multiple search engines into all-encompassing SERP's. Finally, a one-of-a-kind undertaking, the Open Directory Project or DMOZ is a non-commercial directory focused on human-editing and free inclusion.

Studies also indicate search engines and links are the most effective method to reach users. According to GVU users survey, 85 percent of all new visitors currently arrive from search engines. Other strong marketing venues include word of mouth and print direct mail advertising.

Traffic Facts

The following shows the average reach. For instance, if you sampled a million Internet users, average reach states how many visit each of the follow (Metrics as of February 2005.)

Yahoo301,800 reach per million Internet users
Google170,650 reach per million Internet users
Ask Jeeves6,905 reach per million Internet users
AllTheWeb1,070 reach per million Internet users
Dogpile1,485 reach per million Internet users
DMOZ1,880 reach per million Internet users

Today Yahoo is the top ranked, highly trafficked website on the Internet. Word of mouth grew into what is now a publicly traded company. Yahoo listing is as important as that in the phone book.

Google.com open in a garage in September 1998 in Menlo Park, California. Google handled more than 100 million search queries a day by the end of 2000.

In February 2002, Google launched Ad Words, a self-serve cost per click advertising model. In December 2002, Google launched Froogle, a free product search service. 2004 brings Local Search and Gmail, as well as a public offering under the ticker GOOG.

No longer a garage business, Google reaches an average of 148,800 million users each day. Being included in the next Googlebot Internet crawls is as important as drinking milk.

Ask Jeeves Inc. was founded in 1996 and is now a publicly traded company with headquarters in California. Its syndicates search technology and advertising units to a affiliate partner network including Excite, http://Ask.com, Teoma, Ask Jeeves Kids, MyWebSearch, MySearch, MyWay, MaxOnline, iwon.

Ask Jeeves began as a human-edited listing but has since abandoned this for algorithmic search results. Smart Search allows users to search keywords such as celebrity names and receive an instant biography and photograph above results. Binocular icons next to certain results allow quick web page previews.

A Overture Services business, AlltheWeb's index (provided by Yahoo) includes billions of web pages, as well as tens of millions of PDF and MS Word files. AlltheWeb offers specialized search tools for the major browsers and advanced search features, supporting searches in 36 different languages, news, images, audio, video and multimedia files.

AlltheWeb is powered by FAST and considered by some as a likely candidate to exceed Google's success. The search engine's strongest asset is fresh information, re-indexing sites and removing broken links every 7-11 days. AllTheWeb is also know for its SafeSearch filtering option that removes offensive content from SERP's.

The information provided here should give you a good insight into understanding how the major search engines got their start. Market your website to these top search engines and improve traffic to your online business.

Don't give up! If at first you don't succeed, TRY, TRY, AGAIN! There is a lot to learn when starting a online business. Give yourself a break and don't set unrealistic goals. Contrary to popular beliefs, having a successful, profit making, online business doesn't happen overnight.

Hey, as business owners we CAN'T be all things for all customers.
I mean it would be fantastic if we could, however, you just can't
meet the needs and wants of everyone, you would run yourself
ragged trying :

BUT ... that doesn't mean you throw your hands up in despair and
give up ;o) Stick with me for a few minutes and we'll go over a
few ideas that come to mind and see if they get your creative
juices flowing.

Firstly, what the heck is a "Niche" anyway?? I mean I am sure
you have seen the word flying around the Internet and a lot
more lately. You've seen newsletter articles and email letters
from some of the top guru's now sprouting "Niche" as the new
"catch" word of the time.

The term is NOT NEW. Basically a "niche" is finding a specific
target market and catering to their specific wants and needs.

Ummm let me give you an example...

As a marketing coach/consultant my business is providing a
service "marketing" to businesses. Now obviously the business
arena is too general so what I want to do is break it down into
bite size sectors or smaller target markets. I may want to deal
specifically to the needs and wants of Dental Offices and decide
to specialize in Dental Office Marketing. I could take on the legal
sector and specialize in marketing legal practices.

Get where I am going here??

I can't be all things to all businesses out there, so I break the
business sector down into target markets and the find the ones
that I want to specialize in and cater to that group specifically.

Now, you may be thinking ok, that's good for you being a marketing
coach, but I am an affiliate for a program...how does "niche
marketing" affect me?

Glad you asked ;o)

When people first come online with the desire to start some
sort of business they typically go into the "emarketing" niche
and promote products/services with a marketing theme. It makes
sense from a marketing point of view, you go where there is demand.

However, with demand also comes competition and the "online
marketing" arena is saturated and highly competitive.

So...what do you do?

Well, what you need to do is sit and think of markets outside of
the "online marketing" arena which could also use your products/
services and target your messages specifically to them.

Umm I feel an example coming on here...ah ok, here is one for
you.

Lets say you are an affiliate for an autoresponder service.
Excellent service because you know that anyone who starts
a business online needs an autoresponder. While that is great,
what isn't so hot is the fact that you are not the only autoresponder
service in cyber-land and they too are targeting the same niche
you are.

But...the difference between you and them is this article ;o)

See, we all go for the obvious niche or target market when we
sign onto an affiliate program. We go after the others just like
us and market to them. What we fail to do is find the OTHER
niches or target markets out there that haven't heard of an
autoresponder and have no idea what it is let alone how much
time we can save them.

I am thinking about niches like, oh...perhaps Real Estate Agents.
A few friends are in the market for a new house. Every week
they get in the mail (snail mail) the new listing sheets for all
the houses listed that week. The idea is that they go through
these sheets and see if any of the houses peak their interest
and then they are to call their Agent and ask to view them.

It was an ok system, but imagines how much time and MONEY
a Real Estate Agent could save if they had an autoresponder
service?

All they would have to do is create the new listing templates,
enter the email address and names of their client base (even
that is automated) and blast out the new listings once a week,
or more often if they wanted to. No more printing costs and
gone are the mailing costs and the time factor you have saved
them is PRICELESS!

See the potential here???

Are you beginning to get the idea about finding other market
segments (customers) for your products/services??

If you are an affiliate for an autoresponder service you
could promote autoresponders to Dental Offices. They
send out appointment reminder cards...imagine the cost
savings for them if they had an autoresponder service,
not to mention the time savings of having staff to stick
labels and post them out??

It is just a matter of seeing what they do and how your
service can save them the time and money. AND...the
best part about this thinking is that not many take on
this sort of business stance.

Now let's get away from the "online marketing niche"
for a second and think of other ways of creating
profit through niches.

Another thing is to look to your hobbies and interests.

Lets say you dabble at DJing on the weekends as a
hobby. With that very hobby you could create profit
by creating a little niche site geared towards DJing.
Your site could focus on showing someone how to
break into the weekend DJ business and provide
sites that offer good DJ equipment (that you are
affiliated with of course).

The idea about NICHE Marketing is that you DON'T
have to stick within the "Online Marketing" niche.
You can find a niche based on an affiliate program,
a hobby or a special interest.

Some of the top marketers have found other niches
like; stop smoking, weight loss, online dating, model
trains, travel, golf and yup even cooking.

Don't limit yourself to the niche of online marketing.
Step out and find other market segments that are
not being served or where there is limited competition
and build your niches around those. It's like taking a
path of least resistance and a path to more profits!

Once you have established which keywords would optimize your website for search engines you should aim towards securing a top ranking in those search engines. This is done by creating Keyword Rich Pages (KRPs), which are pages that contain a certain keyword numerous times and also have good content. The page then gets top ranking every time someone searches for that particular keyword.

I am going to tell you now how to create KRPs, with the assumption that you already know about the entire basic HTML tags such as the Title, Meta Keywords, Meta Description, Headings, and Alt tags. If not, check out http://www.SEOgeek.com and brush up on your understanding of these topics.

Let's say your company is selling complete travel packages to Europe and you have decided to use a keyword "travel to Asia". The Keyword Rich Pages would be created like this:

The Title Tag:

This should be your primary focus of attention. Always beginning of the Title tag with your target keyword in the. Keep in mind that search engines will be showing your Title tag so you need to try to make it interesting to people as well.

An example of a tag that might be good here is: "Travel to Asia and learn the true meaning of beauty". If you look closer at the contents of Title tag you will see that it employs the keyword at the very beginning and lets people know that Asia is a beautiful place.

This is just an example, the Titles which you use will depend on the nature of your website. General rules which are outlined here, should be followed.

Meta Description Tag:

This tag provides brief descriptions about the page for the search engines. In this respect it is similar to the Title tag- it must be rich with keywords and also appealing to people.

Composing a Meta Description Tag is similar to composing a Title tag, but generally it should be longer.

The following is an example of what I might have done for such a tag:

"Travel to Asia- your mind can fully take in its beauty when we will take care about the complete details in your trip."

Do you notice how this is repeating the keyword as well as letting the customer know what it is that you offer?

Meta Keywords tag:

This has become the least important in the search engine rankings. Some sites have achieved highest ranking without writing any keywords in this tag. I think, however, that it is better to be safe than sorry and therefore it is better to include few keywords in this tag, also. Include variations in upper case or lower case writing of the keywords. The rules about this tag are very straightforward. They are: no repeating of keywords in this tag for more than 3 times and no repeating a keyword right after the same keyword.

Here is an example of what I mean:

"Travel to Asia, Exotic Asia, travel to Asia, tourism, TRAVEL TO EUROPE"

Notice that I used "Land Down Under" and "tourism" for separating the different keyword versions.

Page Body:

We move on to actual web page content. To start with, obtain an attractive photo which is not very large that applies to the web page you're making. In this case the picture of a sunny Asian beach with swaying palm trees would work well. Place the picture on top of page. When making Alt tag of the picture mentioning the target keyword one time which will be "Travel to Asia". Other words may be included but make sure your target keyword is at the beginning.

We are now ready for the Heading for the page. For this you will use the H1 tag and in it you will mention your target keyword once. So, here also the tag could be "Travel to Australia". Other words may be included but make sure the target keyword begins the tag.

The text for your page can be created at this point. How you do this will depend on what action you want to be taken by the visitor after reading your page. Perhaps you want him/her to go to your home page of your website or any other page in your website. If that is so you should aim to write text so that visitor will want to move to the webpage you have targeted. You need to make sure that the page links to target page are there in this KRP. Perhaps you want the visitors to go to the affiliate program. Then the proper tactic would be to emphasize the benefits of users which they get in purchasing the service or product which are sold by the affiliate program. You would need to make sure, also that links to the affiliate program are embedded within this page or at its end.

Here are some rules that will help you:

1) Some of the search engines do not recognize Meta Description tag, they just accept few lines of your text from top of your page body and that will become the description which the search engine displays. Make sure that these few lines of your text are appealing.

2) Ensure that maximum possible sentences in your page should contain the target keyword. Don't just use the keyword indiscriminately, its placement should be grammatically correct and people should not be able to tell that you used this keyword over and over again deliberately. This is wise not only because you don't want people to have a bad impression of your website but also because you don't want to be penalized by leading search engines for spamming because you just repeated keywords for no reason throughout your page. Try to use the keyword first at the beginning of your webpage and then at the end of your copyright info.

3) The length of your paragraph should not exceed more than 4 sentences. Most people don't have patience and time to read more than that on internet.

4) You must try to provide text links on your webpage to other web pages with the keywords present in your text because this may give your other page a good ranking also.

5) You should make all possible attempts to link to pages which contains keyword in file names because this can rank your page higher.

6) No set rule is their which could indicate that how many words the KRP should contain. Try to have at least 400-600 words, but if you have a little less or a little more, don't worry.

When the page is completed give the file name something which should contain the keyword with the other individual words separated with a hyphen. Here the file could be named travel-to-europe.html. For some of search engines that emphasize on the presence of keyword in file name can provide you higher ranking.

If you need or want to target another keyword, just create another KRP for it using the above procedure.

Once your KRP is created you can't just upload them to your website and submit them to search engines. The engines don't appreciate those web pages which have only outgoing links and no incoming ones from other web pages. You may be penalized for such a page.

You will need to directly or indirectly link the KRPs to your home page. If you are creating many KRPs you shouldn't link your home page to all of them because this will make your home page messy. Create a separate page in the site that you should call a Sitemap page (you can also name it sitemap.html). Link to the KRPs from this Sitemap page, and make sure that the text that you are using for the link is the same as the keyword that the page is optimized for. The link to travel-to-asia.html can read "Travel to Asia".

There are search engines which will not spider pages that only have outgoing links, so if the page only has links to other pages and no content this page may be ignored by the search engine. It is good to add a short description of what is found on each of the KRPs together with the link to that KRP so that the page will not be ignored by the search engine.

Now link your site home page with the Sitemap page by using a text link. Now you are ready to submit your home page, each of KRPs and Sitemap page to the leading search engines. Submit only the home page to the search engines. You can go to the submission section of the search engines to add pages or if you want to save time you can use free submission tools provided by a number of sites which will help you submit sites manually without having to go to the submission section of the engines.

By following all the rules outlined here your website will achieve a top ranking successfully.

Does your website have stick-ability?  Are your customers encouraged to look further?  Or are you putting them off without even realising it?

Websites Deliver Business
Most of us know how to dress nicely and speak clearly, right? The crazy thing is business owners spend thousands on driving and directing people to their websites only to have them arrive at a website that comes up short. Visitors are greeted by your online "salesperson" and its almost like your website has a five o'clock shadow, speaks in tongues, is difficult to understand, did nothing about wearing a pressed suit and doesn't ask for the sale.

Sales Basics 101 The Three Second Test
Most sales training institutes will tell you that you have three seconds to capture the interest of your customers. In that time, they make a decision about who you are, how credible your product or service is and, ultimately, whether or not they will buy from you. Your website is no different. Your homepage should tell your customers what you do within that three seconds, and it should tell them at a glance. You need to quickly and simply tell your customers what you do in order to get them to stick to your website and move towards making an enquiry or a sale.  Let me share some quick pointers on creating stick-ability.

The Glance Test
Remember, this may be the first time a customer has come to your website, now is your chance to grab their attention. Your website must make it ABSOLUTELY clear what you do at a glance. Use images that show what you do and make it clear where they can find the sections they want. If they have to guess your web site won't work.

Create a Compelling Headline
The next part of our three second test is whether users can find information quickly. I don't know about you but I want information now and as fast as possible. When visitors arrive at the home page, your goal is to display information that is relevant to them and in the form of a headline which can be found easily and quickly. Do this and your home page will convert loads of visitors into enquiries.

How Much Text is Good Text?
Less is always more when it comes to text first impressions. Reduce your text to the absolute minimum necessary and stick to the point! (when was the last time you read through a three page sales pitch?) A simple statement about your products or services and who your customers are is all that you need on the homepage. Using strong "calls to action" will also help lead your customer into the relevant areas of your website. In other words, instruct them to click on a link to look at a different section.

Keep it Consistent
The branding, image and tone of your website must reflect the marketing you do in other areas of your business. Don't be casual if all your advertising is in a businesslike, formal tone. Consistency in the "look and feel" of your business colours, text and service offering will help people remember you.

In the physical world you can easily sell a product by your interacting behavior and your marketing tactics. But in the e-world where there is no face to face interaction and all marketing is totally a game of your site's interaction with your visitor which may desperate them to turn into your healthy customers. While designing your site you must know who your target people are and what are their needs and will your website turns to be beneficial for them. A website's form and content is what will determine if a visitor will stay just a visitor or turn into your next customer. Today we will discuss how to accomplish the later.
To succeed at your online business (whether you are selling your own
product/service or are selling for other merchants as an affiliate), you need a
Web site created just for that - a simple, focused site. One that is easy to build, maintenance-free, low cost, credible, and a powerful traffic-builder and
customer-converter.
Having the right tool and the right product alone doesn't insure the success of
your website. There are many factors to be considered while designing a site.
Unfortunately, most of these are easily ignored by Internet business owners.

Build It for Speed
It's a fact of modern life - people are in a hurry. This means that you have
between 10 and 30 seconds to capture your potential customer's attention. To
minimize your load time, keep graphics small. Compress them where possible. Use flashy technology (JavaScript, Flash, Streaming Audio/Video, animation) sparingly and only if it is important to your presentation.

Target your Market
Know who your market is and make certain that your site caters to their needs. It is critical that your site reflect the values of your potential customers. Is your market mostly business professionals? If so, the site must be clean and professional. Is your product aimed mostly a teenagers and young adults? Then your site could be more informal and relaxed. The key here is to know your market and build the site to their preferences.

Focus the Site
Make certain your web site is focused on the goal, selling your product or
service. A site offering many unrelated products is not necessarily unfocused, but  this is often the case. If your business does offer many products, dedicate a unique page for each instead of trying to sell them all from one page. Selling all products on the same page may annoy your customers and he may never comeback to your site.

Credibility Is Crucial
The most professionally designed site won't sell if your customers don't believe in you. A clear privacy statement is one way to build your credibility. Provide a prominent link to your privacy statement from every page on the site as well as from any location that you are asking your visitors for personal information. Provide legitimate contact information on line. Make them sure that their information is not disclose to anybody at any price.

Navigation should be simple
Make site navigation easy and intuitive. Your all pages should reachable within three clicks. Simple and smooth navigation adds to the convenience of the visitors. Add powerful search and catalog features. Many times a lot of visitors do not have the patience to navigate through the whole website to find what they are looking for. A simple navigation may hold your site's visitor for a long time and may create a chance of some more bucks for you to enjoy your weekend.

Consistency is the key
Make sure the site is consistent in look, feel and design. Nothing is more jarring and disturbing to a customer than feeling as if they have just gone to another site. Keep colors and themes constant throughout the site.

Make your site interactive and personalized
Make your website interactive. Add feedback forms as well as email forms that allow your prospective customers to ask you any questions they might have pertaining to a product. Personalization of your website is another key element that can lead to customer delight and can increase your sales. Personalization technology provides you the analytic tools to facilitate cross-selling and up-selling when the customer is buying online. It would give you an idea of what products to cross-sell and up-sell. For example, when a person buys a CD player, a disc cleaner can also be offered.

Content is King
Good content sells a product. Ask yourself the following questions. Does your
copy convey the message you wish to get across to your visitors? Is it
compelling? Does it lead your visitor through the sales process? Have others
review, critique and edit your copy to insure it is delivering the intended message. Always double check your spelling and grammar. Well its contents that talks with your customers so make it to the point.

These eight, simple rules will go a long way toward the improvement of your
website and most importantly, turn visitors into loyal customers.

Like any type of website, there is a fair amount of work involved in setting up an Adsense site however more importantly there are quite a few tip and tricks… or should I say secrets that should be known which will ensure that Google Adsense pays you the maximum amount of money on a monthly basis.

So here are some basics to start

2. Free content is a great way to go when building a site… articles, books, software and so on.

3. A few inbound links will ensure higher rankings thus bringing in more money every month.

Now for a few of those top secrets….

4. Place Adsense on 90% of your pages.

5. Vary the type of Adsense Ads on your pages.

6. Place at least one Adsense ad above the fold on your pages

7. Experiment with pictures above each Adsense ad.

8. Experiment with the ads blending into the page and standing out.

9. Some statistics have shown that the large rectangular Adsense ads get the most clicks.

10. If building a website from scratch do research on the most profitable keywords for your websites topic.

Above I have only listed a few of the tips and secrets on Adsense. There are many good books and videos currently online that will help increase your Adsense income significantly of which you should look into if you are serious about making Adsense another of your full time income streams.

The final thing I would also recommend is Adsense tracking software. I use software constantly and it has easily doubled my Adsense income within the last six months alone.

As with any business or income proposal, make sure you do your research as this will ensure not only maximum exposure on the internet but also the best possible profits for your websites and online business.

Introduction:

This is a series of articles about marketing and advertising. There are different ways you can reach an audience of millions of individuals all around the world. I show you on this series how to implement profitable strategies in your marketing career.

It has been said that "what matters is not what you sell but how you promote it." So, the secret to success lays within your marketing techniques.  That's why it is very important for business owners to develop skills which allow them to increase the sales of their products.

One of the most important skills you must have is the ability to reach a lot of people quickly. To do this you need to realize how powerful media is an how it can drastically increase your revenues.

– Pay per click advertisement –

This particular strategy won't bring you millions of customers but I have included it here anyway, because I know that a lot of people use it to advertise their products on the Internet and it gives them very positive results.

What is it about? Well, here we go...

Sophisticated search engines like Google and web directories (E.g. Yahoo) have developed advertisement programs which allow you to advertise in a new and innovative way. If you have ever used Google or Yahoo you may have already noticed some ad messages to the right of the screen. They are called text ads and they are much more effective than banners.

It works as follows. First you sign up with Google adwords https://adwords.google.com/ or Yahoo Overture These programs allow you to advertise on the Internet on a paid basis. Let me explain . . .

Once you join, you will have the opportunity to customize your ads. You will be able to set up everything as you please: the message you will deliver to your potential clients, the keywords you are going to use, the name for your ads, etc.

Then you will choose how much you want to pay for those keywords. For example if you own a real estate related business, and you want surfers that are looking for real estate related information to see your ad, then you will bid on that particular keyword.

The bidding starts at $0.05 per click and goes up. You only pay whenever someone clicks on your ads and you choose how much you want to pay for each click. You also decide the time frame of your advertising campaigns, how many clicks to receive in specific time periods, etc.

You will pay the amount you bid on, whenever someone clicks on your ad. If you bid $0.05 per click and you run and advertisement campaign with $30.00 then you may receive 20 clicks per day for thirty days. In that case you would be choosing to spend $1 per day, but you can also spend the whole amount in one week or one day.

It all depends of your preferences and what is more convenient to you. Also keep in mind that the higher you bid, the more exposure you get. If you bid too low, then your ads wont be very popular. A marketer that chooses to spend $1 per click will have a better exposure than that one who chooses to spend only $0.15 per click on the same keyword. Do you get the point here? This is a competitive thing.

Now, you may be wondering why do I refer you to a paid advertising technique when there are so many ways to advertise for free on the Internet as I have already described in other articles. The reason is basically that not every marketer is equal.

What may suit you perfectly, may be a waste of time or money for someone else and vise versa. So, I compiled many different advertisement techniques used by the most successful advertisers and presented them to you in this series so you choose the ones you like the most.

As you can see, this technique can increase your exposure and help you get more clients. You can read about other effective marketing techniques from my other articles on this series.
